Last week I was caught by surprise when someone told me that Jan Somers of Vengeance suddenly passed away on 28 January 2010. He was 46 years old.
Vengeance and Bodine share a common history, so it seems appropriate to me to raise attention to this sad news. I've seen Jan Somers perform twice with Vengeance and marvelled at his enthusiasm and skills. Seeing him play the guitar together with his son Timo on the same stage was something unique in the hardrock scene. Too bad it did not last longer...

I'll raise a beer to Jan and listen to Arabia.
Timo, all the best with getting over this phase in life! You've shared some special moments in life with your father--I hope you'll cherish them forever!
